If you live or work in San Luis Obispo, California, sign up for a microgreen subscription and never run out of fresh, nutrient-packed greens again.
Microgreens are an early stage of a vegetable plant’s development, right after the sprouting stage.
Most people are familiar with sprouts, but microgreens are even better. They are easy to digest and add a lot of flavor to every meal. And since microgreens are harvested early, all of their nutrient content is concentrated in these tiny plants. That means…
Microgreens are living foods that provide many potential health benefits. Things like…
One of the things we love about microgreens is that they’re so easy to use. You can add them to just about everything.

We grow a wide variety of microgreens. You can select your favorites when you order, or leave it up to the “farmer’s choice” for a fun surprise each week.
These are all great standalone microgreens, packed with nutrients and fantastic flavors to add to your meals.

We love to blend microgreens for either flavor or function, so these are also often available each week.

These microgreen varieties are seasonal, more delicate, or take longer to grow. But they still taste amazing, so we love to grow these for our mixes or as special orders.
All our microgreens are grown organically. We source organic seeds from suppliers who specialize in clean, high-quality, non-GMO seeds. We grow in rich, organic, fertile soil – without any synthetic fertilizers or pesticides – and use only filtered and mineralized water. We think you will see and taste the difference!
We harvest and deliver on the same day. You can’t get them any fresher unless you buy them at a local farmer’s market or grow them yourself. (Both of which we fully support!)
Start your subscription today and get flavorful, nutrient-packed microgreens delivered to your door each week.
We grow everything to order and most microgreens take 10-14 days. So if you order today, your subscription will begin on and your first delivery will be .
We deliver on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings. Your first delivery will include an insulated cooler bag and reusable ice packs to keep your microgreens fresh. On future delivery days, leave your cooler bag outside your door with any empty containers and ice packs. We will replace the containers and icepacks when we deliver your fresh microgreens.
Hi, I’m Johnny. I’m a Cal Poly graduate who loves riding bikes and living sustainably.
I got into growing microgreens because they’re a simple, low-waste way to grow really healthy food.
They don’t need much space or water, and the short growth cycle lets me harvest all kinds of varieties right at home. Plus, I love being able to offer fresh, locally grown food to people in my community. So you can feel good about what you’re eating and where it comes from! ☺︎☺︎☺︎
And I’m Kristopher. I’ve spent over 25 years in tech as a designer, marketer, and entrepreneur. So when I’m not at my desk, or working with Johnny on microgreens, there’s a good chance I’m in the garden or orchard.
I discovered microgreens years ago while trying to get more nutrients in my diet by eating more whole foods and fresh vegetables.
The desire to grow more of what we eat – along with a passion for herbalism, regenerative farming, and permaculture – led to the creation of Anholm Farms. We’re still in the early stages, but excited to be growing and supporting local food in San Luis Obispo.
We know we’re doing something different than the typical food distribution process, so we’re expecting some questions! If your question isn’t answered here, please get in touch with us. We’d love to hear from you.
Yes! You can change your quantity, microgreen varieties, or delivery day at any time. Just note that because we grow to order, plan about two weeks ahead for changes in quantity or varieties to take effect.
No problem! You can skip any number of delivery days. We just ask that you let us know two weeks before hand. If it is shorter notice, there’s a good chance you have already been charged and your microgreens are growing. In those cases, we will donate your microgreens to a family in need on Saturday morning through a local food bank.
Yes, please put your containers in your blue bin for recycling. We aren’t fans of single-use plastics, and are testing other packaging options now to find a good alternative. If you’d like to be part of our packaging tests, just let us know!
While we aren’t certified organic at this time, all of our microgreens are grown using organic seeds, soil, and fertilizer. We don’t use any synthetic fertilizers or pesticides.
We recommend eating microgreens within a week. But when stored properly – keep them in their container, refrigerated, and dry – most microgreens will stay fresh for 12 to 14 days.
